Build health, mindfulness, reduce stress, find better sleep, build more energy, strength and flexibility, and find yourself feeling great in mind and body. This is a mindful, energizing yet balanced morning class – a perfect way to start your day. We explore the balance between effort and ease in this yoga posture (asana) practice, and ultimately, our lives.

This class works well for beginners and experienced students as multiple options for movement and poses are provided. 

What this class includes:

  • Clear instructions with a simple, grounded approach
  • Frequent check in’s to see how you’re doing
  • Room to ask questions
  • Feedback is given, if desired (if so, please have the camera angled to show the entire body). Camera on is not mandatory.
  • We focus on the everyday yoga essentials that will help you feel great (for a lifetime!)
  • We build community and welcome all

What this class does NOT include:
X Overly complex or “fancy” postures that are out-of-reach (and out of touch)
X The expectation that you must be “bendy” or “stretchy” to be doing yoga
X Getting bogged down or up in your head worried about doing things “right”
X Any form of negative, self-depreciation or negative self-criticism

Other things to know:

Please sign the class waiver before your first class. Email it back to: info@collabfitness.com a day before the first class.

Packages available! Look for the “5 class pack”. 5 classes for $75, or single class for $18.

As mentioned, this class is on Zoom. Click here for tips on getting ready for your first Live Zoom yoga class!

Please have a sticky yoga mat. Optional props: yoga strap (or similar), yoga blocks (or similar), sturdy blanket (recommended), pillows or yoga bolster.

Please inform me (Michelle) at least a day before class if you have special considerations (ex. injury, pregnancy, fatigued, etc).

Ages 16+
Minors need parent’s prior written approval for you to attend class. Please send the email permission to info@collabfitness.com along with your phone number for a brief phone call.

About Yoga Fundamentals Beginner’s Series

Yoga Fundamentals, a 4-week beginner’s series with Michelle Spore of CollabFitness + Yoga. 

This is an immersive, educational class series for those new or returning to yoga, to help you build confidence, skill and comfort in your practice. 
You will discover strength, flexibility, mindfulness practices and yogic knowledge to move forward with your practice safely and organically.

Class Features:
Four (4) 55 min. yoga classes all-levels welcome, but this will be taught for those new to yoga
Individualized attention offered
Learn:
How to build an authentic, strong and safe yoga practice
Proper alignment and technique in yoga asanas (poses)
Mindfulness practices
What to expect:
We move at a slow pace to include detailed instruction on alignment and leave space for you to ask questions
Learn or re-learn the basics with special focus on body and breath awareness
Yoga etiquette and the basics of yoga breathing and meditation techniques
You will leave the class with confidence knowing you can grow an established personal practice.
